- Although erotic, the content of King Kum's projects are not focused on sexuality, but the satirical absurdity associated with filming sexual acts and the political implications of doing such. Pornography has been challenging the moral majority for centuries and raising valuable questions regarding freedom of speech and the interpretation, application, and scrutiny of the laws by which it is governed. Our goal is to bring these themes and questions to light through over-dramatization and visualized absurdity through print and film media. Our inspiration is derived from the adult films of the late sixties to early 80's and the various political movements, feminist or otherwise, that accompanied the mainstream distribution and availability of pornography.
